About the Author

Author’s website:

banishingbackpain.com.au

Valentyna always planned to undertake a medical career. However, after learning that physiotherapists work more closely with patients during their rehabilitation, she commenced studies in physiotherapy at the South Australian Institute of Technology, graduating with a Bachelor of Applied Science in Physiotherapy in 1981. Further study at the University of South Australia led to a Master of Applied Science in Physiotherapy (Orthopaedics) in 1991. During this time, Valentyna was strongly influenced by the teachings of David S Butler (theory and research on adverse mechanical tension of the nervous system) and Mark Jones (teachings on clinical reasoning), which ultimately contributed to the formulation of her theory of the Right Functional Scoliosis (RFS).

In addition to her physiotherapy career, Valentyna has performed with the State Opera of South Australia as a chorus member in more than 40 productions, over a period of 24 years. She has also taught singing to adults and children, and more recently has trained in vocal physiotherapy techniques as well as the Estill Voice Training method.

A second edition detailing how the RFS can contribute to vocal, throat or jaw issues, as well as to upper limb (shoulder and elbow pain) and lower limb (hip, knee and heel pain) conditions is already in the planning.

The User’s Manual For Your Body

  • HOW THE BODY HANDLES THE FOOD WE EAT
  • WHY WE GET OBESITY AND BECOME SICK
  • HOW TO CURE IT AND STAY HEALTHY

Your body is the most sophisticated thing in the Universe, and you should view it as your most treasured possession. But you did not arrive in this world with a user’s manual that tells you how your body works, particularly in relation to the food you put into it, and what goes wrong when you do things differently to how you have evolved.

Two thirds of western society are either overweight or suffering from obesity. This a potent source of unhappiness, extending in many to anxiety, stress and clinical depression. But there’s also a significantly increased risk of serious diseases such as cancer, heart attacks, strokes, Alzheimer’s disease, arthritis and diabetes. If you contract any of these there’s a very good chance you will die prematurely.

Statistics show that what we are currently doing is clearly not working. And that’s because people simply don’t know or have been given the wrong information. The User’s Manual For Your Body provides in simple terms everything you need to know.

JOHN ARONIS

MBBus (Acc) GradDipCA MComm MA (PAIS) CA CTA

John was born in Sydney, and was raised in Brisbane with some of his childhood spent in Goondiwindi, Murgon, and Yeppoon. He now calls Brisbane home (or, more correctly, Pine Rivers Shire!)

He has a Bachelor’s degree in business, a Master’s degree in Commerce, and a Master of Arts in Political and International Studies. He is a Chartered Accountant and Chartered Tax Advisor, and is Principal of his accountancy business based in Brisbane.

John has experienced a personal battle with obesity for many years, and like many individuals was left frustrated and totally confused by the lack of authoritative information on how best to deal with it. His personal story can be found in his bio video.

After studying the topic extensively and putting into practice the Nysteia Formula he has now reached his biological optimum weight (BOW). And importantly, he will never again become overweight and progress to obesity.

With his good friend and business partner, Dr Andrew Renaut, he has developed Nysteia and put all of this experience and knowledge into the one place, so that others may derive the same benefit.

When he is not working, John likes to maintain his physical and mental wellbeing by continuing with the Nysteia Formula on a daily basis.

John is a trained classical guitarist, but can damn well play the blues on a Fender Stratocaster, and shares this guitar passion with Andrew. He also enjoys flying planes, walking in rainforests, and practicing the Japanese martial art of Aikido in which he holds the rank of 3rd Dan Black Belt. As often as he can, he returns to Osaka Japan, which he considers paradise on Earth.
