Becoming Alfie

Alfe Norrington was born into poverty in London’s East End in the first minute of the twentieth century. His life was a battle. From the Brick Lane markets where young Alfie pilfered and pickpocketed, to the trenches of Flanders, Alfe fought every step of the way.

Almost killed by a trench bomb he battled to recover and while in a military hospital Alfie made a promise that dramatically changes his life. A true East End hero, Alfie begins his journey away from poverty armed with a robust moral compass and an open heart.

Becoming Alfie is the first in the Alfie Norrington series. It follows the life of a man who positively influenced thousands of people. The world needs more individuals like Alfie Norrington, that give much more than they take.

In-Different Times of Chaos!

True Crime Stories

A true story lived and written by author and publisher Justin Daniel Broughton.

I find its rather ironic that this book I wrote is, too, made from a time of indifference. It was written in Victoria’s Melbourne and designed by a company in South Australia’s Adelaide. Which of course has 30 minutes to an hour time delay in-between both states of Australia. This makes the timeframe, not the same, yet dates unlike my story the very same. Quite ironic don’t you think?

Afroz Martino’s beautifully written poetry collection Bringing my words to light is about her love, relationships, nature and many more aspects of life. The boldness and frankness in her writing is very rare to find. This is very enjoyable to read about Afroz’s adventurous journey of life through her poetries.
