As a result, Sandra’s childhood was immersed in both English and Italian literature and from a very early age she knew that she would become a secondary school English teacher. This vocation would provide the platform to impart and instil a love of reading and the written word upon all students entrusted in her care.

Further, Sandra has always been an avid reader with a flair for imaginative writing and a passion for fine art which has inspired her to write her first children’s book. As a mother of two daughters, she values the importance of providing her children with a healthy balanced lifestyle. Sandra was inspired by the famous portrait head painting “The Greengrocer” by the Italian painter Giuseppe Arcimboldo. Her vision was born from this inspiration, compelled, and moved to write a story to assist parents throughout their journey, evoking a true sense of enjoyment for children when eating their vegetables.
