Kirsty wrote Koala Rescue for her nieces and nephews following the catastrophic Australian bushfires of 2019/2020. Spanning a variety of genres, Kirsty writes short stories, poems and novellas. Koala Rescue is her first published children’s book.

Kirsty currently lives by the sea in South Australia. She enjoys reading, stargazing, whale spotting and watching the dune wildlife. Despite many family suggestions, Scrabble remains her favourite board game.
